Working Hard!

Everyday my little man amazes me! He always hated Tummy Time but is not beginning to enjoy it more and more. He rolled over once on Monday for Mommy and Daddy and we celebrated but we are still working on it!! He seems to be more fond of rolling on his little round belly :)

His newest trick is copying mommy and blowing his little lips together!! He is working on perfecting it!

Jack was very inspired by the Royal Wedding this weekend. He was such a gentlemen as he folded his hands together for our reading time. Soon he is going to be telling me how embarrassed he is of me :)

TEETHING SUCKS

Well, first let me just apologize for taking SO long to update! Things have been pretty busy around here! I feel so very blessed to have such an amazing baby! He is such a happy baby and LOVES to sleep...we are talking 12 consecutive hours. But that all changed last night.... lets just say I've been up since 1:30am. ENOUGH SAID. But he was still such a little trooper. No crying.... just couldn't sleep. Sadly he is so young that he doesn't quite understand the whole concept of holding a teething ring. But I just got back from Babies R Us with a bag full of teething goodies. Fingers crossed that tonight goes better!!!

I Make It Rain

No unfortunately not "that" way...... I have hit a new mommy milestone this weekend. It's called (ear muffs Miles) leaking............UGH! I was trying to find a dress that I could actually fit into this weekend for L's bachelorette dinner. I was in the dressing getting ready to put my first dress on and then I noticed IT...I was in such shock that I didn't even know what to do! I just stood there as I leaked milk all over the place! I was MORTIFIED and a little pissed, that was a waste of milk. I grabbed my stuff and just ran out of the store and went to the safety of my own house where things like this NEVER happen! Hmmm I wonder what my new mommy milestone will be... I'm scared.

REALLY....COME ON EMILY......

I guess it is going to be one of those days.... I came to work in my slippers. I am pretty much mortified! Well.... at least my feet are all nice and cozy!

SQUIRREL!!!

Well... it seems that my family has it's own version of Dug from the movie Up, and his name is Cooper. Yesterday afternoon was such a lovely day so I thought Jack and I would go and sit on the patio while we let the dogs out to do their thing. Boy, were we in for a surprise..... As we were sitting out on the patio enjoying the lovely sunshine, Cooper comes running out of the woods very excited with what he considers a present......a damn SQUIRREL!!!!!!!! I immediately jump up with Jack in my arms and run from Cooper....which of course he considers to be a fun game and runs after me. I start yelling "LEAVE IT, COOPER LEAVE IT." He then tilts his head in confusion...because he thinks he is being an awesome dog and bringing me a present. I run inside and slam the door before he can bring it inside and call Jason and scream on the phone telling him to come home.

Luckily Cooper finally dropped the squirrel ON OUR BACK STEPS and I let the dogs inside. and yes, Mr. Squirrel stayed on the steps until Jason got home to get rid of it. I was going to take a picture to share this awesome experience, but lucky for you it was to dark by then.
